TUFS Food Pantry Held with Support from JASSO and Tokyo Gaigokai

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, TUFS held its second Food Pantry of the academic year for enrolled students. This initiative was made possible through generous donations from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and the TUFS alumni association, Tokyo Gaigokai. Amid ongoing price hikes—especially in staple foods like rice—the pantry aimed to support students facing financial hardship. On the day of the event, food items such as packaged rice, noodles, and canned goods were distributed to approximately 400 students.
