TUFS Students have created and recorded stories for children, which are now being distributed via Thai public broadcasting podcasts.

The School of Communication Arts at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) and Thai public broadcasting station Thai PBS have collaborated on a project called “Long Ears Rabbit Tales”, in which they have created and recorded stories for children in Thailand (aged 2-6). Long Ears Rabbit Tales is a project that aims to help children learn about morals and manners through stories, and is made up of various short stories created by UTCC students.
This spring semester, as part of the class “Thai Conversation 5” (instructor: Professor Sunisa Wittayapanyanon), our students worked together with UTCC to create one story for this project (2024.8.6 中国体彩网手机版), in the autumn semester, as part of the classes “Thai Conversation 4” and “Thai Composition 2” (taught by the same professor), students from our university took part in the production of five episodes. The stories in which our students took part were designed to help children understand the differences between Japanese culture and Thai culture. This time, the project was supported by the Japan Foundation in Bangkok, in recognition of the results of the efforts made in the spring semester. After taking a joint online class with UTCC on story creation, students from both universities worked together to come up with a story, write a script, and record it to complete the work. It is being broadcast on the Thai PBS Podcast, a public broadcasting service in Thailand, from January 5, 2025.
