On November 26, 2024 (Tuesday), 12 junior high school students from Singapore (accompanied by 2 chaperones) visited TUFS as part of the Singapore Ministry of Education Language Centre’s Exchange Program.

The Exchange Program aims to increase the Singaporean students’ motivation for studying Japanese and to better understand Japanese language education methods, so the students participated in a calligraphy experience thanks to TUFS-ISSA (International Student Support Association) followed by a Japanese language lesson conducted by TUFS graduate students from Professor ITO Katsuhiro’s “Methodology of Japanese Language Education” class. Finally, the group went on a tour of the campus and ate lunch together at the cafeteria.
