March 22, 2024
On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, a group of 33 Mongolian high school and university students studying in the field of Japanese culture visited TUFS as part of JENESYS 2023, an international exchange program promoted by the Japanese government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to promote understanding between Japan and Mongolia. From TUFS, undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Mongolian and Central Asian languages, Associate Professor Masahiro Aoki, and Lecturer Yohei Yamada participated in the exchange program.
In the program, after a greeting in Mongolian by TUFS students, the participants interacted in groups, and each group took a tour of the campus. The group and the students enjoyed the exchange in both Japanese and Mongolian, with each side seemingly unable to stop talking with the other.
