Dean of UPEACE Visits TUFS

On Monday the 27th of May, the Dean (for Cooperation Affairs of the UPEACE) of the University of Peace (UPEACE, Costa Rica), Dr. Juan Carlos Sainz-Borgo, and company visited TUFS and met with President HAYASHI Kayoko and Vice President MATSUKUMA Jun.

UPEACE and the TUFS Graduate School of Global Studies entered into an Academic Exchange Agreement in 2013, and the head of the Peace and Conflict Studies Course, Professor ISEZAKI Kenji (Institute of Global Studies, Peacebuilding Studies), is invited to UPEACE every year as a guest lecturer.

This meeting was also attended by Professor Isezaki, and discussion revolved around the development of cooperative relations including student exchanges, and the establishment of a postgraduate dual degree program between the two universities. It was confirmed that TUFS and UPEACE would continue to develop relations and exchange opportunities between the two universities.
