TUFS Holds Meeting with Neighborhood Association

On Thursday the 15th of November, TUFS held a meeting with the local neighborhood association. This meeting is held once a year to maintain the relationship between TUFS and its surrounding community.

This meeting was attended by Neighborhood Association members such as the head of the Momijigaoka Cultural Center, the chairman of Tama, the chairman of Momijigaoka District 3, and the chairman of Asahicho. Also in attendance from TUFS were President Tateishi, Secretary-General Katsuhisa Sagisaka, Vice President Chika Takeda, Special Advisor to the President Hiroshi Sano, and student representatives from the Gaigosai Executive Committee, Sports Clubs Committee and the Cultural Clubs Committee.

After an opening address from President Tateishi, summaries of projects and events between TUFS and the local community were given by each representative, and the student representatives gave reports on Gaigosai and their club/circle activities. Following this, opinions were exchanged on further collaboration, cooperation and interaction.
