Burmese Language Department holds fundraising event to support earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar

Following the magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck central Myanmar on March 28, the Burmese Language Department has started a fundraising event to support earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar.

The fundraising event will take place over four days from Tuesday, April 8th to Friday, April 11th (during the lunch break, 11:50-12:30) in front of the University Hall (cafeteria) and at the entrance of the Research and Lecture Building. The money raised will be donated to local relief efforts through Japan Heart, an international medical NGO.
