TUFS Graduate Student Receives JAECS 2020 Student Best Presentation Award
October 6, 2020
At the 46th Conference of the Japan Association for English Corpus Studies (JAECS) held online on October 3rd (Sat) and 4th (Sun), TUFS graduate student HU Xiaolin (Graduate School of Global Studies, second year Ph.D.) was awarded the Student Best Presentation Award. Ms. Hu’s presentation was titled “A Validation Study of the Accuracy of Lexical Diversity Tools”.
Ms. Hu’s comment upon receiving the award:
I'm really honored to win the JAECS 2020 Student Best Presentation Award. In this wonderful conference, researchers from different countries had active communications and discussions about corpus linguistics. Besides, thanks to all the encouragements and valuable suggestions from my supervisor Tono Yukio, I could never achieve this without his support. This award will inspire me to work harder for my future research.
