Change to Campus Smoking Areas

To all TUFS Students and Faculty
From July 1st, in accordance with the revised Health Promotion Act and the Tokyo Passive Smoking Prevention Ordinance, TUFS will be reducing the nine on-campus smoking areas to three designated outdoor smoking areas.
These three locations are provisional, as TUFS intends to become a smoke-free campus in the near future.
At this time we ask that smokers prevent passive smoking by using the designated areas, and by refraining from smoking in the streets around the campus, the surrounding neighborhoods and Tama station.
