Exchange Students Hold Cultural Exchange with Children of Fuchu City

On Sunday the 10
th
of December, on commission from Fuchu City, the youth trial event 'Learn About Foreign Cultures! Experience Them!' was held in the large conference room of the Administration Building at TUFS. At the event, the 39 participants (19 elementary school students, 20 caregivers), learnt about cultures from other countries, played games, and interacted with TUFS exchange students.
The event was led by TUFS exchange students Alan (Brazil), Nushani (Sri Lanka), Shabrina (Indonesia), Proud (Thailand), and Apapohn (Thailand)

. The students taught participants about the culture in each of their countries, with a focus on New Year's traditions.
In the second half of the event, a 'games introduction' was held in which the students taught the participants, including caregivers, the games children play back in their own countries.
Five TUFS students managed the event as staff, and helped in guiding participants to the venue, and playing with the participating children.
