TUFS Teaching Member Receives History of Science Society of Japan Award

On Saturday 3 ^rd June 2017, Associate Prof. Ito Takashi (Institute of Global Studies Modern British History) was presented with the 11th History of Science Society of Japan Award. This prize is awarded in recognition of outstanding journal articles relating to the history of science and technology. After the assessment, Associate Prof. Ito's article "The State and Popularization of Science in Victorian Britain: Scientific and Literary Societies Act of 1843" ( Historia Scientiarum , vol.25, No.3 (2016)) was awarded the prize.

The awarding ceremony took place on 3 ^rd June.
