Central Asia Film Festival held on 25th September

On Saturday 24 ^th September 2016, the TUFS Cinema Central Asia Film Festival (screening of 'Kurmanjan Datka Queen of the Mountains') was held at the Prometheus Hall at TUFS in joint sponsorship with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The film screening was held as part of the Central Asia Film Festival of the 'Central Asia Plus Japan Dialogue' ninth Tokyo Dialogue weekly event.

Prior to the screening, Prof. Shimada Shizuo gave a talk on the details of the screening and of Central Asian studies at TUFS, after which Mr. Akmatalieva Jakshylyk (TUFS Open Academy 'Introduction to Kyrgyz') gave an explanation of Kyrgyz culture, history and society.
