Rector of University for Peace Visits TUFS

On Monday, November 20th, 2017, Dr. Francisco Rojas, Rector of University for Peace (UPEACE), Costa Rica, visited TUFS and met with Prof. Minoru IWASAKI, Executive Director of TUFS.
UPEACE and the Graduate School of Global Studies, TUFS concluded an academic exchange agreement in 2013. Since then Prof. Kenji ISEZAKI from TUFS has been holding a special lecture as a guest professor at UPEACE every year. It is the second visit of UPEACE to TUFS this year following the first one on May 25th, 2017.
Prof. Isezaki also joined the meeting. They exchanged opinions on the feasibility of establishing a dual-degree program between the two universities, in particular on exchanging doctoral students. They agreed to discuss this in more concrete terms in the near future.
