  学位取得証明書で確認すること
What is checked on the Certificate of Degree acquisition?

　取得学位に虚偽がないかを確認します。日本においては、例えば学部を卒業すると学士の学位が取得できる、というように学歴と学位は連動していますが、日本国外において学歴と学位が連動していない国があることから、日本国外の教育課程における大学/大学院を卒業/修了した方は、提出が必要です。

（学位取得日、取得学位名の記載が必要です。）

　We check the validity of the degree. In Japan a degree can be obtained upon graduation but this is not always the case for some countries. For those who have graduated from non-Japanese university or graduate school, it is required to submit Certificate of Degree acquisition .
