On July 19, 2023, a farewell party was held at the ASC Center to see off 5 exchange students from Fall Semester 2022 with Prof. Chitonge.

Two students from the University of Zambia, Annet and Themba, and three students from PIASS, Amissi, Ines, and Patrick, shared their impressions of their experiences studying in Japan for about 10 months over lunch.

We, African Studies Center, hope that all the students will continue to play an active role as a bridge between Japan and Africa after they return to the home countries.
